Who is it for?

New Americans beginning their tech careers, seeking certification and training.

Comprehensive IT training (CompTIA certifications: ITF+, A+, Security+, Network+).

Eligibility Requirements & Application Process

Refugees, asylees, and eligible New Americans within 5 years of arrival in the U.S.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Intermediate proficiency in English and basic computer literacy.

What happens after I complete the training?
TechNation primarily serves refugees and immigrants who have work authorization (or are in the process of obtaining it) in the United States. Many of our participants have arrived within the last five years from countries like Afghanistan, Ukraine, and across Africa. We also work with longer-term immigrants funded through other workforce programs. If you’re unsure about eligibility, just fill out our intake form—our team will help you figure out the best fit for your situation.
What if I have previous IT experience?
Our Fast Track program supports individuals with previous experience through resume writing, mock interviews, and connections to employers.
How long does the training program take?
Each training program is different and focuses on a different discipline, but most programs are around 12 weeks long, 3 nights a week, for 3 hours an evening.
